TRAINING
Training is the most important thing. All security officers in Virginia must have their DCJS training to continue doing their jobs. Most companies require their officers to just be DCJS trained. Stryker believes that the more the officer has the better and push for continue education of the field. Stryker require officer to have CPR/First Aid, 12 FEMA Classes, ABC certifications, verbal judo, and at least two less then lethals training.
CERTIFICATIONS
Every security company and officer in Virginia must have their license and certificate. Most companies do not even know to ask to see them. Stryker has an open door policy with ours. At any given time you can ask to see not only the companies but also the officers and know that we and our officers will have them current and valid.
OFFICERS AND VEHICLES
At Stryker we believe that if you see one of us, you have seen all of us. Our uniforms are not just a uniformed ordered out of some catalog. Officers are sent to a local uniform store and get fitted uniforms to make sure they look the part. Our vehicles are also marked the same way. We believe the client should get vehicles and officers that look professional and show presents. This way the officer not only looks the part, can do the part, but also has the equipment to do the part.
INSURANCE
Insurance is a big part of security. It's hard to trust someone on your property as security and make sure they do the right job without liability. With us we provide a policy that protects not only us, but also the client. Are coverage includes but not limited to alcohol properties, vehicles, officers, and any equipment we use.
